Sponser a Rider

Nearly half of all the participants at Pegasus Project receive partial to full financial assistance for riding fees. While we are pleased to say that since the inception of our program in 2003, riding fees have remained the same, the expense to provide therapeutic riding lessons continues to grow. Because therapeutic riding impacts the lives of the individuals we serve with special needs, Pegasus Project is committed to making its program services affordable to all those that have a desire to participate.

By sponsoring a rider for a session or a full year, you are ensuring that the life enriching activity of therapeutic riding remains accessible to those with special needs that might not otherwise be able to afford it. Allowing a Pegasus Project rider to take part in therapeutic riding activities through sponsorship is a wonderful way to show your support.

• Sponsor a Rider for one session (8 weeks): $200
• Sponsor a Rider for two sessions: $400
• Sponsor a Rider for three sessions: $600
• Sponsor a Rider for one full year (four sessions, 8 weeks each): $800

Sponser a Horse

At Pegasus, our six "equine therapists" receive wonderful care from our trained staff, however the costs associated with this care continue to increase. On average, it now costs over $4,000 a year to provide food, medical services, shoeing and other necessary supplies for each horse. An important way generous supporters can help offset this substantial expense is to become a Pegasus Project horse sponsor.

Horse sponsors contribute $2,500 towards the care of one horse for the year. The funds contributed will be applied only to horse care. In return for their support, sponsors will have their name displayed on the horse's stall and be acknowledged in center publications. Sponsorships are available to individuals, companies, clubs, or any other organization.
