4th Annual "Ultimate Riders Showcase" - Fantastic!!!
Tumbleweed Ranch was the site for inspiration as the Riders of Pegasus soared to new heights in their annual Riders Showcase. It was the perfect opportunity for family, friends & the Pals of Pegasus to see these INCREDIBLE riders in action!
This year's showcase featured multiple showing formats including the always popular costume competition (see right). Also, the winner of this year's Pegasus Preakness, Lucy, was announced.

Pegasus "Poker Studs" Tournament - October 8th, 2011
"RAISE the BET!" Pegasus hosted their 1st Annual "Poker Studs" Tournament at Tumbleweed Ranch.!
Pegasus Preakness On-Line Fundraiser: May 9th thru June 17th, 2011
Every year, the Ponies of Pegasus compete for your support in this fun & exciting on-line event. Over the course of 6 weeks, each pony will be hosting a web page of their own and inviting you through e-mails & the Pegasus Facebook page to "vote" (by donation) for your favorite Pegasus Pony.
The horse who raises the most money will win the race, be crowned Pegasus Preakness Champion and will have their name featured on the Tumbleweed Trophy (in honor of "Tumbleweed", the first ever Pegasus Preakness Champion:)
Spanky's Car Wash Benefit: May 21st, 2011
Everday is a great day to get your car washed at Spanky's Car Wash! However, on May 21st, Spanky's is donating 100% of the day's proceeds to benefiting the Pegasus Project. WOW!

"Spring Fling" Fashion Show: May 9th, 2011
Get ready for some Fabulous Fashion Fun as Gasperetti's Restaurant will be hosting this year's Spring Fling Fashion Show with the latest in spring fashions presented by Garden Dance!
This is the perfect event to kick off the wonderful Spring Event season for Pegasus! Pals of Pegasus will have the chance to enjoy an AMAZING lunch, with fashion entertainment and the perfect blend of hospitality and friendly fun. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to supporting the riders of Pegasus.

Bill & Danny's "Great Adventure" Continues!
Bill Shields & Danny Day continue their "Adventure" in the "Peking to Paris" road rally. Cruising in their modified 1939 Dodge Coupe, Bill & Danny have just crossed the Russian border and are soon to be traveling through Eastern Europe!

"La Fin Fatale" - September 9, 2010!
It was a beautiful evening on the ponds of Tumbleweed Ranch as the ladies took center stage at this year's Fishing Derby. Honors were secured by Peggy Veronte (picture right) for "Deadliest Catch" and Bop Johnson for "Most Alluring".
Over $8,000 was raised to start the "cast" of dollars into our 2010-11 Pegasus Rider Scholarship Fund. A Very Special "Thank You" to all of the ladies who supported this Marvelous event!
NARHA Region IX Conference - July 9th thru 11th, 2010
The Pegasus Project was honored to host the 2010 Region IX Conference @ Tumbleweed Ranch. The conference had both a “Program” track & an “Administrative” Track. In addition to classes pertaining to the Therapeutic Riding & Equine Industry, there were also presentations on event planning, fundraising, marketing, & more.
As a Very Special Bonus, there was also a “Horsemanship” workshop conducted by the incredible Dianne Mortenson on Saturday afternoon. Please click here to visit Dianne’s website.

3rd Annual "Ultimate Rider's Showcase" - June 12, 2010
Tumbleweed Ranch was the site for the most inspirational Pegasus event of the year! 27 Pegasus Riders performed for their family, friends & the Pals of Pegasus! This year's event featured multiple formats (including a costume competition), special guest presenter "Ms. Washington Jr. Rodeo Queen" Madison Wagner, and a tasty BBQ!

Two Mountain Winery hosts annual "Chalk Art Party" - May 29, 2010
Two Mountain Winery hosted the 5th Annual Pegasus Project "Chalk Art Party" at their FANTASTIC tasting room in Zillah.
Guests, Pegasus Volunteers & Rider Families enjoyed a day of wine, art, food & fun. The special appearance by Pegasus Ponies "Arbitar" & "Fleeta" made for an exciting new addition as well! A very hearfelt "thank you" to the wonderful owners & staff of Two-Mountain Winery for continuing to put this event on for Pegasus every year.

Thank You Yakama Nation Legends Casino! - May 2010
The Pegasus Project was recently awarded a $3,000 Grant from Legends Casino. This Grant will be used to re-launch our partnership program with West Valley High School & their Life Skills Students.
Three x 6-week sessions will run during the 2010-11 school year. Students will spend all day (once per week) participating in equine-related activities, including therapeutic riding, ranch maintenance & horse care, and classroom-based learning.
Thank You Sunrise Rotary! - April 24th, 2010
Sunrise Rotary donated their time and skill at Tumbleweed Ranch to take another giant step towards completing the "Trail of Legends" sensory integration trail. Over twelve volunteers contributed their efforts in building two land bridge railings that connect the trail to the main pastures. More updates on the progress of the Sensory Trail to come!
